Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026
The short version: This site doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising. We collect only what's necessary to sell you art and maintain provenance records.
What We Collect
Website visitors: We don't collect personal information from casual visitors. No analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no cookies except for essential functionality (like remembering your dark mode preference, which is stored locally in your browser).
Customers: When you purchase artwork or register for the collector portal, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Shipping address (for physical deliveries)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe—we don't store card numbers)
- Purchase history and registry records
Collector registry: The registry maintains ownership records including:
- Collector name and contact information
- Print ownership history (for provenance)
- Transfer records
How We Use Your Information
- To fulfill orders: Shipping artwork, sending confirmations, providing certificates of authenticity
- To maintain provenance: The registry exists specifically to document ownership history
- To communicate: Order updates, transfer notices, and (rarely) announcements about new work
- To process payments: Handled securely through Stripe
What We Don't Do
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone
- Use tracking or analytics services
- Send marketing emails without your consent
- Share your information with advertisers
- Use your data for profiling or targeted advertising
Third-Party Services
Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Fine Art America: Open edition print fulfillment. Subject to their policies. We don't receive payment details from FAA orders—only that a sale occurred.
Email: Transactional emails (order confirmations, magic links) are sent through standard email infrastructure.
Data Retention
We retain collector registry data indefinitely because provenance records are the entire point—the ownership history of a work becomes part of its documentation.
If you want to close your collector account, we can anonymize your records while preserving the provenance chain (e.g., "Private Collector, 2026").
Your Rights
You can request:
- A copy of your personal data
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion of your account (with provenance anonymization)
- Export of your purchase/ownership records
Email hello@haslun.studio for any data requests.
Security
The collector portal uses email-based authentication (magic links) rather than passwords. Session tokens are encrypted. Payment data never touches our servers—Stripe handles it directly.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note the date. We won't materially reduce your privacy protections without notice.
